9 Panel Cartoon

For the 9 panel cartoon, I first colored the settings from the "Humor" file. I then got pictures of Stewie from Family Guy and cut them out to use in my cartoon. After, I added the zombies that I made for the Colored/Shaded Cartoon assignment and added dialogue using the text and cloud bubbles.

Colored/Shaded Cartoon

For the cartoon project, I first selected one of the cartoon settings to color which was the haunted castle. I used paint bucket on most of it but I also used a gradient for the castle. I then added the ghosts, vampire, and zombie which I also colored in using paint bucket. For the ghosts I lowered the opacity of the paint to try and give it a more ghostly appearance.

To start this project, I first had to make the background. Next, I added the trees and my head using the cookie cutter tool. I then drew my body, the arm, and the bow free hand. Lastly, I used the cookie cutter tool again to make the banner and add the text.

Cartoon Yourself

For this assignment, I first had to use Photo Booth to take a picture of myself. I then traced the picture and colored it using colors from the picture. I also darkened the lines using a black layer underneath the layer with my contour. Afterwards, I added a background with a forest, a lake, and some snow-capped mountains.

Cartoon Masterpiece: Rembrandt's The Amsterdam Merchant Nicolaes Ruts

For the cartoon masterpiece, I first selected a painting to make a contour of, which ended up being  Rembrandt's The Amsterdam Merchant Nicolaes Ruts. I then picked a cartoon face from the show South Park and dragged it onto the original painting's face. Afterwards, I traced the painting and colored it.

Scream Contour Drawing and Face Photoshop

For the Scream project, I first had to trace the original just like the Mona Lisa project. I think used a blend of custom colors and colors from the original to color it in using paint bucket and different brushes. To photoshop my face in, I took a few pictures until I got it right. I then traced it with the lasso tool, cut it out, and scaled it to fit over the contour face. Afterwards, I used the "Smudge Stick" filter to give it an interesting look.

Mona Lisa Contour Drawing

For this project, I first outlined the Mona Lisa (however I forgot to save it so I couldn't post it). Then I decided on the colors that I wanted to use which were green, yellow, orange, and black for the clothing along with a light skin tone and brown hair. I then traced the original background and gave it a mostly grassy look with some flowing water.
