Street Art Piece in Artrage

For this assignment, I drew a guy waving from across a fence using the airbrush tool. The purpose of this is to send the message that, no matter where you are, you will always have the friendly (sometimes to the point of being creepy) neighbor who lifts your mood by simply greeting you.

Artrage Stencils: Rhythm/Movement

For this assignment, I used a stencil and the glitter tool to create a up-and-down pattern. I also used the paint tube and palette knife to create the red background.

Rothko-esque Painting in Artrage

For this assignment, I created a Rothko-inspired painting using the paint tube to apply paint to the the canvas and I blended into a rectangle it using the palette knife.

Celebrity with Animal Name

For this assignment, I first downloaded a picture of Gordon Ramsay and got rid of the background using the erase tool. I then found a picture of a ram, cropped out its ears and horns, then edited onto the image of Ramsay. Afterwards, I moved it onto a frame and put his name at the top.

Scanned Felt Tip Drawing

For this project, I first made a contour of the South Park character Cartman using a felt pen. I then scanned the image and colored it using Photoshop Elements.

9 Panel Cartoon

For the 9 panel cartoon, I first colored the settings from the "Humor" file. I then got pictures of Stewie from Family Guy and cut them out to use in my cartoon. After, I added the zombies that I made for the Colored/Shaded Cartoon assignment and added dialogue using the text and cloud bubbles.

Colored/Shaded Cartoon

For the cartoon project, I first selected one of the cartoon settings to color which was the haunted castle. I used paint bucket on most of it but I also used a gradient for the castle. I then added the ghosts, vampire, and zombie which I also colored in using paint bucket. For the ghosts I lowered the opacity of the paint to try and give it a more ghostly appearance.
